Trunk Will Not Open Sometimes...
50% of the time, my trunk will not open with the switch in the car or the remote. I have to turn the car on and then hit the trunk switch in the car for it to open. They have already replaced the computer in the trunk and the trunk actuator. I have taken it in 4 times and they can't figure it out. The trunk does not make any noise when I am trying to open it.

Follow-up: I figured out the problem. At least on my car. Be sure the car is fully stopped before shutting off the ignition. If the car is rolling and the key is switched off, the trunk release remains disabled (it is automatically disabled when the vehicle speed is above zero).
hmmm this has happened to me only a couple times. one problem I have more often is the trunk button in the tail light sometimes works...sometimes it doesn't...despite turning the car on and off. lol still havent figured this one out.
Wow, thanks! I bet that is what it is... I usually always turn my car off before it stops moving, because my car is a manual transmission. I'm going to test this out! I'll let you know if it works.
Mine does that as well.... I will be giving TechFarmer's idea a try... I know there are times I roll into my garage and shut the car off as its still rolling... So that very well may be my problem...

happened to me too, i opened the trunk through the backseat and when the trunk is open, theres like a rubber tubing that houses all the power to the trunk im pretty sure and on mine the green ground got cut somehow and it must have shorted it out so i used a terminal and connected em and that solved the problem enitrely, if its not the ground wires on urs then it could possibly be some of the other wires running through that tubing.
