My 2003 G35 windows wont roll up when i insert the key in the door and turn it... it used to work but not anymore.. my windows work when i hold down the unlock keys but when i go to put it up using the key.. it doesnt roll up

 

your window motor probably died. take it in for service. it will be somewhat expensive to fix without a warranty. motors run from 100-250 dollars plus installation labor if you have someone do it

 

Look for the DIY for replacing window motor, save money and do it yourself lol. Take about an hour, really easy.

 

the windows rolls up when i put the key in ignition, just doesnt roll up when i am outside the car, stick the keys in the DOOR LOCK..

 

if you cant afford the motor right away just break down the door and pull the window up and re-install the bad motor **JUST DONT LOWER THE WINDOW**. just remember you may have to reprogram the window motor so it'll lower and raise when you open and close the door. but i didnt have to reprogram mine so you may luck out, GOOD LUCK

 

i had the same problem 2 weeks ago. I replaced the motor and it works fine now...
If you dont mind, I can do the installation for 50

 

the window rolls up and down normally.. its when i am inserting my key in the door and holding it one way... the going down works but the going up doesnt.. this is when i am outside of the car

Just roll up your windows normally, jeez...
