Weird noise while accelerating?

I have a 06 G35 Coupe 6MT first time and had it for about 1month and 7 days now and love the ride but hating how its turning ugly.

I start to have problem when im accelerating.
with my windows down, Everytime 1st and 2nd gear, both reving at 2k RPM theres like a rattle noise while accelerating. It only does that 2k RPM. Wtf? Anyone know whats the problem?

Also i'm taking my car to the nissan dealership for a checkup and its free for a check up to see whats wrong with my car right?

Not free. Don't go. $150 for check up.

Rattle can be easily fixed by taking apart the window.

I'm not so sure it's the window, the same thing happens to me.....

It sounds like it's coming from the engine, but could be a heat shield.

keywords are use to/honda/oil change and they only did like a 12 point inspection during that oil change...which they will do at infiniti also but when u tell them u have a weird noise coming from the motor their gunna charge u 100 bucks to check ur problem (diagnostic fee) if theres even a problem regardless ur out 100 bucks

I've had the same issue for a while now on my 05 6MT. You could try checking to see if any heatshields are loose, if so tighten them down. Otherwise, our flywheel tends to be noisy, so maybe that's it.

I didnt know the transmission rattles while accelerating through 2k RPM at gears 1 and 2. So its normal or something if you hear that rattling noise?

And btw wheres the heat shield located at so i can prolly try tightening up to see if my problem is fix.

Had the same problem and also thought it was a heat shield. Check your oil level. Turned out the noise was coming from the engine becuase I was really low on oil. Hope it isn't the problem.

Seems like so many people recently buying 6mts are having problems within the first 2k mile or less

I had the same problem in my 2005 coupe. I took it to dobbs and they ran a diagnostic finding nothing. One of the guys there said it was a heatshield and he adjusted it and it never has made the noise sense. He did it for free also.
