new to 6mt

when should i change to gear 1 to 2? when the rpm reach between to 2-2.5 or before 2?

It's all driving preference. Shift whenever you want.

i shift right before it hits 3 rpm

It all depends. I usually shift between 2.5 or 3000 RPMs.
Practice makes perfect.

for daily driving i go to 3 for night time driving 6

once you see smoke coming from the engine, otherwise don't worry.

give him a break.

Look it up on youtube, have a friend teach you, learning over a forum (especially this one) could be a bad idea with some of the ideas these guys (and gals) might make which may sound reasonable to a unlearned mt driver, but absolutely insane to someone with any experience/knowledge.
