Look, maybe you didn't know your friend would be such a tard. People making it seem like you knew he was reckless, or may become reckless behind your car, are just assuming. Granted, your friend is a douche bag, I don't think anyone needs to blame you for letting him drive your car.

Now, as far as no insurance covering this and you have to sue. He BETTER pay for it, as he betrayed your trust to get a thrill out of a car. And if you have to sue, do it. Your friend may have ****ed up, but hopefully he's a good enough friend after this to admit he ****ed up and get this fixed for you. I don't let anyone drive my cars, but that's because I'm paranoid of everyone, lol.

Epic. That is a crying shame. However, there are some lessons here that hopefully you will learn from.

1) Never let someone else play with your expensive toys.

2) Pay for full coverage on a vehicle worth more than $5000.

Good luck. Hope you get everything worked out.

Front ends of newer cars collapse to absorb energy, Thats why the BMW has alot of damage vs the coupe which was hit on the side which does not have much collapse like the front of the car :O

I'm sorry but this is a very dumb accident. Who the hell turns from one lane over?

I hope his insurance covers it, and if not I hope he'll pay for it.
