Somebody. Please help!

I just got my 2006 G35 coupe yesterday, drove it home, all was well. then I got in the car this morning, the turn signals didn't work. They worked on the way home, and now they aren't working again. I am super confused, and super worried at the same time.

The dealership told me that in the G there is no flasher relay, that it's controlled through the BCM, and that it could cost upwards of $700 to fix such a problem. The hazards work, the lights flash when i lock the doors, but the turn signals won't work. No clicking, no lights on the dash, just nothing.

I am super worried, and super upset at the same time.

Help me?

Did you buy it from the dealership?

no. got it from a private seller, and it worked fine when i got it, no reason to think otherwise, then it quit. i did just realize that if i force the lever all the way down (or up) the lights will work then. Maybe just the switch is bad...

Sound like your turn signal switch is bad. I had a similar problem on a firebird I had years back.

i found one for like 65 bucks but i don't know if i just want to throw money at it. it's either that or spend 105 to have a dealership tell me the switch is bad lol.

well. you are a tech. therefore, you would know whether there is or isn't a flasher relay in the 2006 coupe. i've been told yes, i've been told no. which is it? lol

im having same issue but my hazards r staying on.. nissan dealership was no help here n panama city and infiniti dealership is over 100 miles away.. i have tracked it down to either a bad hazard wire to the bcm or a bad bcm itself... also i have work wheels without tpms installed so i always have that light but now it is of as well.. my blinkers work but not my hazards now.. all i did was find the bcm and unplug it and plug back n..
when i scanned it it came back with codes c1708,c1709,c1710,c1711, i cleared them and now none r present.. also got a brand new battery yesterday to make sure that wasnt it..
