I'm planning to in couple days...it's 2 hours away. Did you get a chance to glance at some of the pics? Not a scratch or dent what so ever.

Blue Book® Values for a 2004 Infiniti G35 35 Coupe 2D with 12,000 miles

Private Party Value: from fair to excellent:

$17,875 $19,275 $20,125

So, I was thinking about offering him 18k. What you do think?

You gotta haggle a little. I'd start at 16.5-17k and work my way up. That's just me though but I can't say I haven't been able to shave off a good couple k from my aggressive haggling. Its already a 6 yr old car. Use that to your advantage. You have nothing to loose... well lol

the market is dead these days, nobody is buying cars therefore people are desperate to sell their cars so they will sell below KBB pricing, idk i wouldnt pay that much for an 04, but thats just me :S

Thanks for the advice. I'm guessing you have a 05 G, do you think I should consider a 05 or later model so I won't regret my impulse decision in the future? (inproved interior with the later models)

Would you say 04 interior is rubbish compared to 05 or later models?

Personally, yes. I have an 05 and the revised interior is awesome. I'm a 6MT guy so I only like the previous 03-04 models for the Brembro package (6MT only). If I were in your situation I would aim for an 06 simply for the updated interior, projector headlights, and sport front and sides (bluetooth?). So yeah, I'd wait

I wouldn't say rubbish but the quality and look is definitely better. I had on 03 sedan 5AT and traded it for an 06 coupe 6MT and the interior was hands down nicer and what seemed to me, better quality. JMO

Yeah the 06-07 interior is a lot more refined.. only thing I don't like is how the ***** stick out on the climate control.. I like the flush look in my 04..
