M3 owner saying hello

I good friend of my and G35 member mentioned this site to me. Just wanted to say hello. I'm a big fan of the G35 Coupe, I love the lines on that car. My friend (not sure of his username here) mentioned some G35 guys getting together in the Jax, FL (Mandarin) area.....maybe I can tag along (most of the M3 owners I've met around my town are asses).

Wussup man, I am not in FL, just an ex-bimmer owner... curious how well the stock G will do with stock M3? (traffic light to traffic light-wise 0-60mph) Have you tried it?

Hey klang, ive seen you on E46fanatics, you seem to be just like me with appreciating other cars and not hating on them, i also wanted to meet up with some bimmer owners at meets and they were cool here in NY, but things never actually worked out!! Good luck with it, i LOVE M3's like i have a problem lol, im waiting until i can afford one and until my lease is up!

Re: M3 owner saying hello

Good to see an M3 owner being cool. I live in Jupiter FL, and many M3 guys here are really "out there" in terms of showing off, its too much for me. It would be cool to have a infiniti meet with "down to earth" bmw owners.

Re: M3 owner saying hello

Not raced but a G35 and I had big fun on an open interstate one night. We took turns leading as we drove like idiots at very unsafe speeds (open road, late night, only endangering ourselves)

Jax/Orlando/Tampa/Miami meets are posted in the Southeast Forum.

I'm sure they would all be happy to have you join them.

Re: M3 owner saying hello

hey klangford, NICE color on the car.

I think for most cars that color would look like ***, but each time I see an M3 in that color (only seen two I guess), I drool.

Nice car.

Yeah...that creamy blue color looks absolutely great on the M3. And the paint looks like its about an inch thick. Really love the M3.

Re: M3 owner saying hello

Definitely check the southeast forum, we usually do a once-a-month meet.. We need to get something together for november here in Jacksonville. There are a couple pretty cool M3 owners around here.

Re: M3 owner saying hello

I'd like to say "hello" to papa smurf... Well if you're going to come to any of the SE meets make sure to rub in the fact that my wife thought the SMG-II was "too clunky", or else I'd be driving the same car (different color though). I tried to talk her into the 6 speed, but she replied, "I thought you said that both the SMG and 6 speed had the same transmission." What a time for her to actually listen to me...

Someone needs to start something around the Christmas time frame. We need to rent out a place and have a Christmas party...

The Bush tax cut is ~$3500 per middle class family.

Re: M3 owner saying hello

I'll keep checking, thanks!

And thanks to the those with compliments on the LSB. You either love or hate the color, there really is no middle ground.

My real desire is to drive a G35. I saw/sat in one at the car show but haven't gone to test drive one. Unless I'm really buying I don't want to waste a car salesman's time. Maybe at this meet one of you guys will trade keys with me for an hour or so.
