Surprised not a lot of people consider a pearl red? We used the pearl red from the new vettes on this old dog. Btw for those of you who don't know, paint that you see on Lexus or Lambos or Ferraris doesn't cost any more than what you see on a Honda. The only thing that makes it significantly more expensive is the pearl coat... adds an extra step. All paint lines like PPG, Sherwin Williams, Dupont, etc... will offer dozens of different shades of pearl. PPG has pearls with yellow, blue, red, green, and combos of just about everything. So if you really like a color on a Ferrari or a Porsche, go for it! It's not any harder to mix.

This is correct, and pearl is really not that expensive. You might pay a extra 100 dollars getting a color thats on a high end car than a lower end car.

Dude I love the look of your ride. What all have you done to it? What kind of drop do you have going on? Springs or Coilovers? I'm a newb and don't know what I'm looking at always so new front, sides or rear? I have a Black 05 G and would love to follow your example.

At that point in time all i had done was had it painted Lexus pearl Starfire white, blacked out tail lights, tinted headlights and changed the grill to a cheaper mesh grill then I chopped springs in half for like a week lol but it rode horrible so i switched to some springs that gave a pretty good drop.

Honestly if you already got black paint with 1500 bucks or so you can make a sick *** simple g35 with coils, tint and debadging.

Alot of forum members dont care for 22s or this style but black is prob sickest color for a g... i really like this one

A true pearl paint job adds an extra stage (3 stages total), this will raise the price by 700-1000 depending on your region. For $100 some pearl specks could be added but it would not have the same effect.

I used to work at a paint shop with my buddy that did painting (who painted my car) and a can of pearl costs around 100 dollars
