Also what do you mean by standalone?

Yes I got my ECU reflashed with Osiris to remove speed limiter and set Rev limiter to what I wanted apart from some other goodies

Standalone EMS= HKS Fcon/Haltech/Proefi/Hydra etc....

As far as the difference in power between the 350Z and G35 of their respective years, I think that has more to do with the different intake and exhausts on those cars, not a "hotter" ECU.

+1 on this.

The 7 Hp difference between the non-rev up Hp numbers for the Z over the G was due to the more free flowing Z-Tube instead of the more restricted baffle-containing-more-restrictive G intake.

That's why we all replaced the G hardware with the Z-Tubes years ago.

What year do you have btw? Are you certain that with just reflash (osirus uprev tune) i can get this fuel cut off deleted? So you use to have the fuel cut off but not anymore since the tune?

look inside of the G-tube. there is only a hole leading into the baffle inside of it. The sole purpose of the G-tube is to muffle the noise comming from the intake. All the z tube does is make the car louder. A 7hp gain is not possible from relpacing the G-tube with a Z-tube. not even a 1 hp gain. no gain. just better sound.

You can raise your rev limit a little
enhance your throttle response apart from having the TB open 100%
Remove the speed governor

I have a 05 6MT aka Revup and I'm also running a Haltech which use to set my redline and my 2 step

i dont think the change would even be noticeable on a dyno… so id hesitate to say that, but there it is not possible for the Z-tube to flow better than the G-tube or the other way around… but hey, we have the exact same car ^^^ lol

The Z-tube has been shown to increase the velocity of the air-flow to the TB resulting in a higher peak HP at the cost of some mid to low range power. OEMs typically give peak SAE HP ratings for the engines in there cars not midrange. This could be why the peak HP ratings for the 350Z is higher than that of the respective G35.

oh yeah. if there is better air flow with the z tube…. low to mid range power would not be effected negitavely.
but please proove me wrong. someone show me a dyno sheet where the only difference is the z tube. no pop charger or stillen intake thing.
and also show me a sheet where the z-tube flows more cfm of air than the g-tube does.
