I was thinking about plasti'ing by whole car. seems like a cheap alternative to a new paint job and you can peel it off if you dont like it....

Haha I've heard that joke so many times but I still laugh at it

Anyways, I went ahead and did my grill with the plastidip just to get a feel of it and how it works. Turned out really great actually. I bought 2 cans, but I ended up using like less than half a can, even when I did 7 layers of the grill.

How in the hell is plasti-dip going to remove your paint? (unless its already peeling off) I would like to see some proof/evidence.

@OP
Next time, try using a razor and sliding it across the diffuser to separate the plasti-dip from the bumper and the diffuser. So when you remove the tape, it won't take off the plasti-dip on the diffuser with it.

Already have. My last ride was a civic so I've been a member at one for a while now.

It's only an epidemic because it doesn't cost $2000+ though right? I mean, you HAVE to spend at least a couple grand modding your g to make it look good right? It's mandatory. If you can't afford to just drop several thousand on your ride then you shouldn't even own it right?

Nevermind that it actually looks good in some cases and is an affordable and ultimately not to bad looking of a mod. If anything is an epidemic I'd say it's clear Corners and debadging.

what are you talking about $2000? spend a couple grand to make it look good? dude the car looks great on its own.. drop several thousand for what? It looks good in some peoples opinion...though it devalues the car...its def not a mod.
