Oh, nevermind. I thought you were talking to me since you said OP. Just noticed what you're talking about.

The G Spot wasn't showing so I got brackets to lower it. I know it's too low and I'm planning to redrill the brackets to raise it up half an inch.

I've found that SEM trim paint is the best for stuff like this, and requires the least work. All you have to do is prep the area, then spray it. The paint has a ton of bonding agent in it, so you don't even need to prime the area. And the paint comes out thin because of the mixed in bonding agent, so it is easy to do thin coats and not over spray.

I have used SEM paint on my emblems, grille, headlights, and my rear bumper valence.

I know this isn't the best pic, but its the only one I have on hand right now. Ill try to add some better ones later.

I ended up using the vinyl gloss black sticker for the rear valence and it came out pretty well. I know its the cheap way out, but I am a broke med student. I've had it on for a year through the snow and all and still glossy and stuck on there. I think the black valence makes the body kit look much more pronounced. Posted some pics.

That's looks very nice, but it seems like you didn't fit it good (or maybe thats me). The top of the valence area is still white

That gap is there because there is an indentation in the valence area and it was very difficult to get the vinyl to stick within the indentation. When I actually got it to line up, it didn't line up on the sides so I had to keep a slight gap. Probably because it wasn't cut right, but for $15 for two you can't really complain. It doesn't really bother me.

As promised, pics with a better camera of plasti-dipped grill. I posted some on page 3, but I got **** for it cause it was iphone pics

2 weeks and 200 miles later (80% of it highway) here it is. Still looks same as day 1. Those white little dots you see are dirt, I wet my finger and went over it and it went (the 3 dark spots on the left side of the grill are my wet finger). Car just needs a car wash badly.
I also went ahead and did my emblem (also plasti dipped). Looks really good too.

I hope these pics satisfy the "quality" requirement people were moaning about earlier. If not, I'll go buy a HD cam and a magnifier tomorrow to please you.

Lol

It's more about convenience than money tbh. None of that sanding, primer, clear coat bs. Don't have to remove emblems to paint it. Saves time, money, is reversible, and looks identical to paint.
