I've ridden in my friends challenger with 20 all around and 30 on the front... 30 on the front is not bad AT ALL. It just reduces glare from the sun. At night, you could barely tell the front was tinted on the inside. So everyone saying, "why would you do that", there you go. Reduce glare, heat, and keeps glass from going everywhere if you were to crash. But if your getting anything get 20 or lower, cause a friend of mine with 30 all around on his BMW looks like theres no tint at all.

Why anyone would want to tint their front windshield is beyond me. Visibility is reduced enough at night by having the side and rear windows tinted.

20% around (minus windshield) and call it a day.
+1 20% all around is what I have. I have to roll my windows down when backing out of my driveway at night to see..

This. It's dark viewing from the outside in, but from inside out, it's not as bad as you'd think.

I'm driving with 5% all around except windshield, and I can see fine.

^^^1st dont double post

2nd dont touch your windshield plz its not worth the headaches you'll get from tickets...i was lucky that the police officer gave me a chance to remove the tint but trust me you dont want this to happen to you...at least here in NYC the ticket for having your tint % too low or having your windshield tinted costs more than tinting your windows in the first place. but its your decision

O yea, get a tint waiver. Just try. I wear glasses and have astigmatism so its probably easier for me to get. But doesn't hurt trying. Friend with the tint on his Chally just so happened to have a eye problem that makes his pupils bigger then normal. Saves you from getting tickets and taking off tint.

Doesn't work everywhere. I know a few people with them that still get ticketed. They usually get off by going to court, but that's a pain in the ***
