So something I have been wanting to do is remove some wiring. There was so much of it. Tonight I didn't want to do the same **** as I have been doing. So I only removed seam sealer for about an hour or two and I moved to dewiring the car.
Here is some pics of some of the clean up I did on the rear saddle.
Here is a little preview of the wire stripping. Looks much better now.
This is what is left of the driver side chassis harness
This is what I took out... It literally felt like 6-10 lbs of ****. (I own a mastiff, I know what 10lbs of **** weighs.. ;-)

Z tubes and pop chargers? I dont know what to say to that except why would I want z tubes or a pop charger when I already had a greddy twin turbo kit and I am switching to a powerlab single custom turbo setup? I would not do all this to a car only to put parts that would only give 10whp? Whether those are the numbers are not is the the discussion here.

Did you remove the airbag control module (box that is under center console)? I only ask because it looks like you removed some of the airbag wiring and connectors, and I'm curious to know if removing the module will cause any weird BCM issues. My car's gutted and caged too, I'd like to clean up all the excess wiring as well.
Everything looks great btw!

Yes I did remove the airbag connectors and the module. I'm really debating doing a painless wiring setup and custom gauges. I'm going to see tonight if it's possible. I don't care to run stock gauges anymore and all I need a RPM, water temp, and gas.
I've seen your car. Looks good. I'm going to be at REMIX Irwindale, will your car be there?

Thanks, for the response and the compliment, I appreciate it! I was looking into custom wiring before, but after reading a few threads on my350z, decided it might be a little bigger project then I wanted to deal with. I remember reading something about the alternator not charging the battery when the cluster was removed, or something ridiculous like that. If you could get it figured out though, you'd definitely be able to clean things up a lot more.
Unfortunately REMIX falls on my anniversary and I'll be out of town... wife already made plans.

Hmm... that should be something to look at with the alternator. With the Cann bus it causes a big problem from what i've heard. But i'm at a point it might be required lol. I will see when it happens. I just traced back everything that I wanted to keep and follows back the things I didn't want. I'm also going to run it through the walls of the frame and under the door to hide everything.
