I bought my 03 G with 135k miles. Premium. Only had it for 3 months (3 months tomorrow actually) and no problems. Replaced alternator belt, an HID, and rotors when I got it and I was good to go. I cleaned my throttle body, changed the oil, and balanced my tires. It runs great, it was 1 owner and it was traded in at a BMW dealer, so I can only imagine it was taken care of. Mind you, with only 35k more miles I picked it up for 6800 and some change out the door with temp tags.

Man my car about to hit 100k miles, not 1 single problem. I'd say go for it all the way.. That's if the price is right

I'll look at Georgia too since I'm only about 2 hours away from Atlanta. But I'm gonna have to talk them down. Cause theres an idiot selling an 04 with torn seats 113k miles and when I went to turn the car on, the battery was dying. So definitely not getting that one. Especially asking 14,000 for it. Where as the one I was looking at had nav and only 81k miles for only 13,390. So I'll keep looking.

Just buy it knowing you will have to replace some stuff. Every car, at 100K miles will need some kind of work. It is usually things like suspension/rubbers/sensors that are neglected at this point.

I'm in this boat right now. I just did hoses/belts/fluids/filters, and am now progressing into tires/front suspension bushings. Plugs/02s are after that.

And there's cosmetics: I've spent about 40 or 50 hours reconditioning my G, and I'm not done. I've filled about 100+ paint chips, polished exterior, fixed burned out bulbs and refinished oxidized plastics, cleaned interior and still need to do some odd and ends.

If you have the time and can do your own work, it will be very nice to pocket the difference in a 100k mi car vs a 50k mile car. In my area that's about $5k dollars.

I've spent about $1600 in parts (including tires) and probably have another $3-500 in maintenance parts to get it where I want it.

I wouldn't buy the G with the torn seats because the way the seats are torn. Its a big gap. And if thats how the previous owner treated his G, then theres no telling how that engine looks. Person probably burned out on his way to school everyday.

DONT DO IT! Purchase my G with 97k.. now at 132k and motor blew. I should've had more sense to buy a car with that many miles, but now its time for new motor with wayyy less miles! Anyways if i were in your position, id rather purchase a g for a couple grand more now then save a couple grand and have to spend 3-4k+ later. Just personal opinion

The question is subjective and really depends on the previous owner. I'm at 154k right now on my 03 coupe and having no problems at all.

Geez - apparently everyone who keeps screaming DONT DO IT is forgetting that these cars are NISSANS! Think about how many Maximas and Sentras and Altimas and Frontiers there are running around on the roads as everyday drivers with 200K+ on them. Any car will need some maintenance at 100K+, but you can sure do a lot of work on a car for the savings you can get over buying the pristine, low-mileage, perfect car, and then you can upgrade it as you change normal wear parts.

180k over here. Had her since November of 2002. My biggest failure so far was a crack in the radiator at around 160k. Nothing major. I barely noticed it was there as the fluid really didn't leak out. I replaced it anyway just to be on the safe side.

True
I had a 95 5speed maxima with 245000 miles on it and it was still running good till I sold it.
Nissan FTW

Bought my 06 G 6MT two years ago with 15k on it for $22k. It had custom wheels (not to happy with the cheap wheels) but the dealership put them on and charged him like $3000 for some cheap wheels. Otherwise the car has been great. Found mine on Ebay, I live in VA and had to go to Wilmington Delaware. It was about a 6hour drive, but I had fun driving back!!!

I also feel 12-14k for a 100000 mile g35 is too expensive. My inlaw has like 60,000 on his 04 and I think he is selling it around 11k.

I paid 19k for my fully loaded 05 g35x (3.5 years ago).

it all depends on market value of where you are. FL, CA, TX - prices are going to be less for more bc of market saturation (say 03/04, $12k premium model w/ 75k) - smaller cities will then cost more for less i.e. - 03/04 base model w/ 100k for $12-14k. does this help?
