bought my 2004 g35c with 59,800 for 12,500 with one previous owner today
took me 3 months but i found exactly what i was looking for. cant wait to get it home from the dealership, hopefully this week when i have time and then its
for days on end.. dont give in to overpriced dealerships/private owners. make them an offer they cant refuse

You can always pay a bit more for a transfer, so look in neighboring states even.
I got my 2007 last month with 33,500 miles on it w/ 8 months remaining of bumper-to-bumper, so they are out there. Keep looking.
This was in Atlanta, though. Might be harder in smaller metro areas.
100k car will require a bit of maintenance such as belts, and hoses possibly. I know you're focusing on the big stuff like clutch and tranny, but there are a LOT of little things in a car that deal with stress and heat and time.
