Just about done looking at cars, 3 to choose from.

Tell me if the links don't work for you guys

http://www.buysell.com/Vancouver-BC/...=2104&sct=Ad_2

A nice white 2005 with 105000 KM for 1500 more than the others.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bn...222508512.html

I would change the headlights, its got 88000 KM which is MINT!

Pretty much the same car as above but from a dealership.

Thanks if you can help me decide

Can't access craigslist at all for some reason.

I like the black with 105k kilo vs the white you say has 105k kilo (can't see any mileage on the website).

Black with Tan interior is just a really classy combination.

i'd go with the black one from the dealer because the other's prices are a little inflated. The last one looks the cleanest as well. GL

Thanks, I was thinking of getting the white one because the rest are 2003 and it's 2005 and I saw in another thread that 2005 is the best year to grab. Is it worth th extra 1500? I like both ob and ip

I would get the white one definitely. it has 280hp over the 2003 with 260hp iirc. Plus White is classy and easy to maintain. I would try to snag it for $15000.

It's actually 15380 not 15830, he wrote it wrong, but there is a 300$ conveyance fee? whatever that is, what if I said "I'll pay you 15000 and that's including the conveyance fee"
Sound like a good deal?

I would try to get him to waiver the fee, it's BS doc processing fee. $300 is high, it's possible that he's selling the car close to cost so it might be hard to haggle him. I would def try to get it under 15500 including the fee.

Let's say I bought this car at the dealership, paid about 1600 in taxes, what other fees do I need to look into? (This is my first car) I'm bringing 5000 down payment, and need to finance the rest.

Do I have to have a parent/guardian? if I do can I bring my sister 23, or do I have to bring my mom? (shes very busy and it's in another town that isn't open on sundays, my only day off)

well if you're buying from a dealer you have to pay both taxes, GST when you buy it and PST when you register. Also there's no tax on top of that conveyance fee. I don't how BC works but that's pretty much how it works in MB. If you're financing you can do it through the bank or the dealership and you will need a parent/guardian to co-sign if you over 18 and you want to have the loan on your name. OR if you have equity and you are approved to get a 11g loan for your self you don't need a co-sign.

you might see a fee for setting up a loan, but I'm not 100% sure I've never purchase from dealers and last time I got a car loan was when I was 16 for my first car and the loan wasn't under my name obv (lol i'm only 19 btw and on my 4th car ha)

Also If you're serious about the car I would get it checked out by a mechanic and possibly do a compression test for $80 or w.e

Good luck on your purchase

Thanks, should I get the compression test while I am getting it checked by a mechanic? And I'm going to get it carproofed as well

Oh well I just called them about their white one, it had 3 collisions, a 1000, a 500 i think and a 9000, I'm going to get it autochecked and their website is called Repo.com because they repo cars that people can't pay or whatever. But it is in good running condition, what do you guys think about it?

Edit: Saw a better report, it's got alot of damage I didn't see, rims and stuff were kinda cut, Heres the report
http://www.repo.com/report/40299/235326 Idk if you can see that
and on the bottom it says "Previous ICBC claims of $9000.55, $2134.65 and $1011.03"

These guys don't make money off commission so they seem very honest, straight up telling me everything thats wrong.

man I want an automatic but this car here is Soooo tempting
http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...232056932.html
Very nice mods, and it was 16000, then he lowered it to 14000, then to 12500, I wanted to buy it before when it was 14000 and talked to him but then I turned to automatics, now for 12500 thats just too tempting.
