Yup. Bus backed up into my G and smashed through the QP, inner QP, and trunk. I'm ****ing devastated. This all happened at the bodyshop my father and I run, and he was attempting to park the bus in the street where I park my car (to keep it safe). I was screaming and flailing my arms in the street because I saw it coming a good 10 seconds ahead of time but he didn't see/hear me in the rain. Then I watched and listened to the sound of my g get crushed up against the curb. I can't think of a worse way to watch your G get smashed.

Needless to say, my father feels horrible too and wants to buy me a car now.. Which is totally irrational considering the sacrifices we make all year trying to run this ****ing business and support the rest of our fam. Luckily, we have shop insurance... The hit could have been worse structurally, really. All damage is above the suspension and unibody, and we have two damn good body guys here. The car isn't totaled and it's all sheet metal damage... Nevertheless, this is really heart-breaking. I decided to post here because my friends (let alone girlfriend) don't understand the love I've had for this vehicle and the time I've put into it.

I'm not ready to take pics yet... Maybe later.

Sorry to hear about that.

I can't imagine watching something like that happen to my own G.

Sad. At least no one was hurt, and you don't have to search for someone competent enough to fix it.

I completely understand what you write about keeping a small business going. It can be tough.

you're a better man than me. if it was me in that situation that bus driver woulda ended up with multiple stab wounds and both arms cut off.

(probably not, but the homicidal thoughts woulda still been there)

and why is the bus driver not held responsible for this?

Were those couple or paragraphs too long for you to read before you commented?

OP, does your body shop upload pics to the web so people can track their repairs? That would be cool to watch the progress.
