Question Test Pipes

Hey guys I really want to start on making a little more power out of my G I've had it for about 4 months now. My warranty is about to run out in April so I really wanted to start small and just build up from there first mod I want to do test pipes and the HKS replica exhaust. My question is how easy is it to install it I tired to find a DIY but couldn't find anything. If I take it to a shop how much should I be paying for a test pipe? Last night at a meet I asked a couple of guys BUT they all had G37s and they said the G37 is really hard to do without a lift, and if the G is the same way I should consider getting it done somewhere instead of just waisting my time.

Thank you all

You don't need a DIY. it bolts right up. You can get it done without a lift but it's much easier with one.
Install time for me took about 1 hour.

Please take a second to do a search as this topic has been discussed, but to answer your question, there is a video on youtube on how to install berk's HFC's which is the same exact procedure when dealing with any type of cat-replacement. Look that up. The rest of the exhaust is self explanatory and straight bolt on.

I used a deep socket, flex joint on one bolt (although I've had friends who didn't need it but for some reason I did), 20" extention, 6" extention, and a way to get A LOT of leverage.

Also PB blaster all the bolts and let them soak for half an hour. What I would do is to break all the bolts first before actually removing everything. Just make sure every bolt CAN be removed so you don't end up taking off one cat and having the other bolt giving you issues.

first off you need to decide what kind of test pipes or HFC's you want.

I would just get a jack stand kit to do the swap and to help you with future mods..

I just lifted the front of the car, took about an hour, very simple bolt on
