Got my G!!

Finally bought a G yesterday, 05 6MT coupe with 64k miles. I love it so far. Just gotta get better at shifting as this is the first MT i've owned.

She's so purdy.

hmm the pic is working on my computer...i'll give it another try.

Also, i'm hearing the rattling noise coming from somewhere under the car that has been mentioned by others. It was checked for the oil consumption problem at the dealership by the previous owner so that shouldn't be the problem. I guess I should check my heat shields?

Upload pics to photobucket first then paste the img code in here, does the rattle happen over bumps & when you accelerate & stop or all the time?

SedanGrn: It happens during acceleration. I can hear it in my neighborhood driving between houses with the windows down.

The rattling noise may just be a heat shield, jack the car up and check for anything loose.

If its more of a clicking noise it may be the rear axles.

Nice car! Congrats! All you need now are some spacers and a billet grille. You will fit right in!

Ya it's gonna stay stock for a little while but I've already got a couple minor mods planned (z tube, k&n filter, tint, clear corners, etc.). A grill and spacers may happen in the future

The rattle could be ur heat shield, rear axle click, front compression rods, or you're sunroof weather stripping needs to be lubed. All common problems which warranty covers if you still have it, if not it's nothing serious and just a rattle you will have to live with or fix you're self, if you get you're services done at the dealership you can ask them to lube up you're sunroof & suspension they will usually do it for free.
