spill, I see your point and I would totally agree with you if when the person who redbadges is asked what kind of car they have, and they say a Skyline when its obviously a G35. Notice over in Japan some owners rebadge theirs with Infiniti G35 emblems.

First, Let me congratulate you for being "in the know". Must feel pretty good to be "in the know". I consider myself an enthusiast also, as do most of us who post here, but I wish I was "in the know". How do you get that classification?

Second, I'm not trying to fool anyone, as I stated, when a Vette owner asked me what a 350GT was, I told him. For me, it was an identity thing. I believe the car better fits the 350GT moniker, than G35. I mean Infiniti has the I35, G35, M45, Q45. They all sound the same, the second number means the engine size, and the first letter some kind of alphabet soup. The G35 Coupe, IMO, is special and should be so identified. If it had G35C badges on it like the 330 coupe (330i) I probably would have left it alone.

IMO, there should be some model difference in badgeing between the sedan and the coupe. Now don't all jump on me, I know that in Japan both the coupe and sedan carry the 350GT name. But the coupe should be identified differently, and mine is.

Lou
