Well my mechanic told me, that my rear tires aren't sitting on the surface properly. If you can imagine, the inner part of both rear tires are being used up more than outer part of the tire. The tires are at a negative angle.

He also said, that I might not need front camber kit because there is enough room for positive/ negative adjustment on the front.

So the solution to this problem is rear camber kit. Hopefully, when I get this installed, the rear camber will be synchronize with the front, and won't need the front camber at all. But I have feeling that the front will be needed.

Thanks guys for the suggestions!

There is NO camber/caster adjustment on the front of any G35 from the factory. You would need a front camber kit to adjust camber/caster.

Sounds like you need to go to a different mechanic.

Well both mechanics told me same thing. Both mechanics are from two different shops.

The first mechanic which is Firestone said, I need rear cambers kit. In order for it to sit properly.
The second mechanic inspected all four tires. He said, I need to get rear cambers kit. After he said this, I showed him the results of my alignment done by Firestone. He definitely made up his mind that rear cambers is a must.

If both came up with the same solution. Then both might be completely genius or idiots. So I don't know what to think.

I have the Eibach rear camber arms and after 15,000 miles both of the bushings have failed. SPL here I come!

OP,

the swaying has nothing to do with your alignment. check your endlinks and your rear differential bushing. Bad shocks could be part of your issues as well.

I would suggest finding a mechanic that really does know these cars.

If both mechanics you went to said that you can adjust front camber, they are 100% incorrect.

Find another mechanic

You should have no problem getting back into spec. My car is dropped 4" and my rear toe is perfect at 0.05

Must READ!!!!

I hate when some people speak on things they have not gone through. This has everything to do with your alignment!!! I went through the same thing at Kauffman Tire for my alignment. Long story short they FxxxED it up. I then went to a shop that specializes in high end, modified, and race car alignment. This is the first fix to your problem!!! (The Right Shop) I have 350z sportline with front and rear camber adjustments. (Awesome set up) My alignment before was set up for tracking on the weekends and it was great, however lots of – camber do to the better traction it provides. (This is a good thing for tracking.) So this last time I wanted something to wear more even. Now let me stop and clear something up. Most of all the alignment shop have specs that are in their computer. The computer cannot calculate how much your drop is and how it effects everything else. Not to mention some springs come a little uneven. You need a Pro that is so good he can make up a spec sheet as he is doing it. So I told him that I wonted a little less – camber. (more even wear) Now a good tech will know if he takes out some – he has to adjust everything else. He also explained that I would loss a little traction and may feel different. (Meaning the SWAY!!!) So I drove it and felt and didn’t feel and other money well spent. Later down the road when I could get a feel for the new Toyo’s I felt the SWAY during a lane change on the highway. Very, very faintly. This was ok with me cause it was so little that no one else could catch it and this would mean no uneven wear. (Most imported cars come from factory with – camber, BMW, BENZ, etc.) You need rear camber and a special shop. If the front is wearing ok then leave it.

Because clearly your experience is the only possible answer. And "swaying" can only be associated with the alignment, huh...........

I experience this swaying when the ground is wet. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to fishtail out of control. Of course, this never happens. But when the ground is dry, The car drives perfect.....weird

Ok guys, crazy story. I posted a long post yesterday on this matter. I had something that was similar and I spilled my thoughts; I believe I may have been wrong. Last night and today I have been feeling this "sway". This thread is haunted by the way! I have not done any suspension or alignment work. Its almost like something is loose. It seems to be when the car is accelerating in higher gears. I am going to a shop tomorrow after work. I will up date later. If anyone has any info of past experiences please speak on this matter. Thanks!
