Steering wheel crooked after installing sway bars

I installed Motordyne Sway bars on my 03 coupe with oem endlinks today and when I went for a test drive I noticed that my steering wheel is not perfectly straight when going down a straight road. What on earth could have caused this. I dont even know how sway bars could affect your steering like that but I know that it wasnt like that before I installed them. (please dont move this to another page because id like for alot of people to read this and give me their input Thanks)

I don't think that the sway bars would cause any alignment issues since its just there to stiffen the chassis. Did you touch anything else besides the sway bars and end links?

Did you disconnect the steering knuckle at any time. Thats the only thing I could think of that may cause that.

I disconected the rear lateral arm when I installed the rear sway bar. BUT I made sure that I marked where the camber washers were turned to and put it back together exactly the same way. I can see if the rear tire was way off it might go down the road crooked but the weird thing is that when I let off the steering wheel while the wheel is crooked the car goes perfectly straight.

So you guys think that me messing with that back wheel would have changed the angle of the steering wheel. Thanks for the input

Alignment. I had a similar problem. After I aligned mine the before and after report showed my left rear toe was out of spec.

I agree considering I didnt mess with anything else that had something to do with alignment. I did take some turns pretty hard when I was testing the sway bars but there is no way I couldve bent something to throw the alignment out.

Glad to hear it. So it was because you disconnected the rear lateral arm.

No I told the guy I disconected it and he said that that has nothing to do with the steering wheel being out of wack
