Well I made the jump! Traded in my 07 Lexus for a 07 G35. Here are a few things I have noticed so far.

-Love the 6 speed really feel in control of the car.
-Exhaust sounds great stock
-Very stylish

What I don't like....

-Steering wheel doesn't go down far enough.
-Gas mileage sucks but expected that when I purchased the car.
-What were they thinking with the seat belt?

With that said, I am really enjoying driving this car. I can't wait to get started on the mods!

BTW...Am I going to run into any trouble buying a front lip? Do the bumpers differ between year models?

 

Welcome, you should have the sport bumper which most lips won't fit. Are u coming from a 250 or 350?

 

If he goes with the INGS front lip spoiler they make it for both sport & non sport front bumper (to my knowledge that is).

 

This thread will help you identify what you have on your car. Use the images to make the comparison.

There are some 06-07 non-sport models that did not come with the sport sides or the sport bumper, so just go over it to make sure so you don't end up ordering the incorrect lip.

wait. so the g35 drives better than is350?

 

is350 doesnt have stick. still it'll dust a g35. hows the gas mileage in comparison since both are 3.5L V6?

I was getting around 20 mpg on the IS...So far it looks like i'm getting around the same on the G

 

I really miss how comfortable the ride is in the IS, but I needed to downgrade and felt like the G wasn't too much of a downgrade if any to me.
