please clarify what you mean by that. which engines from which cars will need to change the harness? from what i have been reading...you only need to change the harness if you change it to the rev up motor.

^ True and also the transmisson since your going from AT to MT.. Not sure if the sedan and coupe have the same wiring harness or not and not sure if it changes from model years, ie 03-05 is one harness and 06-07 is another.. Thats why I suggested talking to an expert... Since I am far from it. GL!

I got my 03 coupe replaced with what was said to be a 04 350z motor. I know it was a 350z motor for sure but I am unsure about the year. This is only because I tried to do up a M3 that came by me on the highway. I picked up speed and the jerk didn't want to line up and do a pull. He put it to the floor and I dropped it in Fourth and did the same. I started pulling back up to him and looked down at the RPM's and it was around 7,150 well in the red. I shifted up and didn't redline. Then I put about 2 1/2 cars between us. So, yes a 350Z swap will work. But I can't tell you for sure if a rev up will or not cause I'm not sure but I think mine is so it might. I have had no problems.

did you do the swap yourself? was it a straight forward swap or did you have to modify things? did you have to swap any sensors?

No, just swap the long block and use your original harness. Sedan engine from '03-'04 is no different. Only possible difference (and I'm only speaking on this from experience on Maxima engines) is if you get a Cali-spec engine and try to put it in a Federal-spec car or vice-versa. Might not even be different on the G.
