Supercharging info on 2004 g35 coupe 6MT

I have a 2004 g35 coupe 6MT I've been thinking about supercharging it in the near future ( about 6psi's) I was just wounding if anybody had any advice on this topic as far as good supercharger kits, pricing, and what not to do.

Thank you ~Chris~

Well my friend you may want to research these manufacturers who make SC's for our cars; Vortech, ATI Procharger, Stillen and HKS. Prices vary but expect to spend 5k and up for a new unit. Search the Forced Induction section here on the boards and you can find a good used setup for around 3500.00. Also what amount of HP are you wanting? There's so much more information available and the "SEARCH" button will be your best friend.

.

Thanks, I saw the used units for $3500 but I'd rather just get one brand new. As for HP...I'm looking for a 120hp gain.

^No problem. You should be all set with a new setup. The only thing I would strongly recomend is upgrading to an aftermarket EMU such as Greddy E-Manage Ultimate, Turbo XS Utec, HKS Fcon, Uprev etc. This will ensure that you achieve a safe tune with maximum power.

Go turbo. SC are very loud and you won't be satisfied with torque or lack there of with SC.

WOW U ARE A ROOKIE EH! and yes im canadian but a smart one....
if you go turbo your gonna have lag of the line s/c makes power at idle you step on the gas you got full boost, with a turbo your waiting till the end of 1st or second for full boost, i had both on my mustang and volvo s/c sound amazing and are much easier to install.... drag car go turbo, street car go s/c

I get full boost around 4K rpm in every gear. I like the turbo lag because it gives the car a chance to get moving before the tires spin.

OP, there's a lot of info in the FI section.

You don't have to enter a title when you are replying. Also don't take FI advice from someone with a post count of 1.

Huh? You're turbo will spool at the same rpm regardless of what gear you're in.
