How about you all offer some helpful advise instead of just cluttering the thread. You don't have to like it, it's not your car. He didn't ask for your opinion of how it looked either.
Op: My guess would be that the grill is stopping the hood from sitting flush. There is a hood pin switch integrated into the alarm system so if someone were to pop your hood, the alarm will go off. I would unplug that switch or jumper out the harness for it (not sure how it works - never looked at it close enough), and see if you still had the same issue. You might be able to adjust the switch so it sits higher too.

^ It was a joke. No one in this thread gave thier opinion of how it looked. And I help people on this forum on a daily basis, thanks.

All I did was search for "alarm going off randomly".

99% of the time false alarms are caused by messed up hood pins. Its really the only sensor that can set the alarm off. You can try disconnecting the hood pin and see if that fixes the problem.
The other sensors are:
Door Pin (one per door, completely isolated from each other)
Trunk pin (I believe it's in the locking mech)
Thats it. Nothing else will set off the alarm. There are no vibration, shock, motion, tilt, glass, or radar sensors on the G stock.
Like I said, I would disconnect the hood pin before anything else and see if that fixes the problem.
Also, adding a Viper alarm would NOT fix this problem, as the OEM alarm would still false trigger and there is no way to disarm the OEM system since it arms every time you lock the vehicle.
