Insurance

I'm thinking of looking for a cheaper insurance company. I currently have Electric Insurance. I've never needed to use insurance fortunately. I'm looking for a company with decent rates and allows use of OEM replacement parts in case of an accident. All replies appreciated.

I'm just looking to see if anybody is actually happy with the insurance company they have.

Re: Insurance

I thought the use of OEM parts to repair your car was your right protected by law?

My parents added me to theirs. I pay $46/month for AllState.

Re: Insurance

STOP THE THREAD. Please do a search, this has been discussed ad nausea. You cannot compare insurance rates unless you live in the same zip code, are the same age, have the exact same driving record and credit score. There are hundreds of variables that go into your insurance premium.... The only person that can tell you if you are getting "ripped off" is your local Independent Insurance Agent.

Insurance is regulated by each state, check with your state insurance department to see if your state regulates the use of OEM parts.

Re: Insurance

I'm not looking to compare rates at all. I'm just asking if anybody is actually happy with their insurance company in terms of service provided for their dollars spent. Are there companies that anybody is unhappy with that didn't come through for them when the time came?

Re: Insurance

I represent many carriers. They can all be great at times, and not at other times. Every claim situation is unique. You should ask this question on the regional Florida forum as there are not many choices for insurance in Florida these days. And unfortunatly most people arent willing to pay more for the "better" carriers. Even with Insurance "you get what you pay for"

I am licensed in NY & FL...
