How long should it take my tein stech springs to settle on my coupe??
Just dropped my G coupe with tein stech and was just wondering how long it usually takes for them to settle, I've heard its around 400 miles but not sure. Also, when they settle does that mean the drop the car lower or not? Here's what she looks like now...

When they settle has little to do with mileage. I waited 10 days for my Teins to settle before I had my alignment done and got the bad news. My alignment tech told me I wasn't close to OE specs and I'd probably need a camber kit to bring it back. I waited another 30 days and watched the inside of my front tires get eaten up and listened to the Roooaaaaar. Then quickly ordered my camber/toe kit here on our MARKETPLACE and installed it a week later along with new tires and one more alignment. Damn....beautiful coupe!

Driving, compression/rebound is what causes the springs to settle. Sort of breaking them in (shifting/moving OE parts to find their groove).
You can install springs on your car, not drive it and park it for 6 months and they will not settle to where their final ride height is. Time is not what causes them to settle. Sure that is one part of the process, but one that varies greatly based upon the other parts.
Drive the car, dont avoid the bumps in the road, put the suspension to use. Give it a good week or few hundred miles and you are more than good.

Thanks man...I probably got the deal of a lifetime on all the work i got done. My buddy told me about this guy that does really good work for super cheep, so i got ahold of him and had him do the following: Lower the car, paint the roof black, install and paint front bumper, sand/repair the rear bumper where i got hit, custom black paint on the front bumper insols and rear bumper bottom insol, replace the two headlight bulbs and install the headlight overlays...He did it ALL for ONLY $450....I couldn't believe it...it would have easily cost me well over 2k to get all that done somewhere else
