Hello !!

New to the forum

Last week purchased a 2005 Coupe AT with 52thou miles on it.

Been lurking and reading and absorbing ideas for simple mods..

Planned Mods:

1. Simple intake, to start with, I already bought a JWT Pop Charger + Z tube at nismo store by West Cocina, Ca. Their damn ztube is on backorder so still waiting for them to call me. Will try it out and then see how I like it...purely looking for the great sound of it...

2. Wheels...i still have brand new tires on the stock rims...so I am still debating on getting this...will see if I get any good deals on a swap or something

3. Exhaust..leaning towards HKS...I just want a simple look with a nice deeeppp ggrrrr... sound. I already love the stock but will probably change it in the near future. Need to get the best bang for th buck

4. Simple Exterior mods like clear side markers ( I already did this, is it legal to change the buld to hyper white LED ? or just make it amber LED ? ) Smoked headlights and smoked tail light...ill probably buy from bluebatmobile...or once i get my glass tinted ill ask them if they could also do my lights. When I bought the car it has been debadged and the front grille changed to carbon fiber + mesh...plus the bottom of the bumper... i like it its clean... dunno the brand but it looks good to me. I already like how the body style looks like so might ot add anything else...

5. Interior...I want to change or add foot pedals from my stock one...anyone recoomend a good/quality best bang for the buck...dont need MOMO or any branded ones... I also want to get rubber mats...I've been searching but I cant find a black one ?? where do I get this ? Sound System...nope I competed on DB dragracing before..this one I am going to keep stock...as of now...LOL

I know that this thread is useless without pics.... Ill post pics this weekend.

The only thing that is bugging me right now is there is noise like something is chirping/rubbing in my dash... does anyone know what it might be ?? this is only when i am driving...

I already have clear corner lights...need to replace the bulbs one is shot..

I also noticed that the straight line on the headlights ( dunno what you call them ) one side is not turning on...is this easy to replace ? can i just buy the part from our vendors here at the forum, I know there is one near me by Rowland Heigths..thinking of driving there tomorrow and say hi !!

Also want to replace my plate holder to plain black or stainless...

Nath, you can get a z-tube anywhere. Give Stillen a call 800-889-9043 you'll have it in 3 to 5 days. You need to keep amber bulbs in your clear sides, that's the law nation wide! Pedal covers are a good idea, when your pedals are wet you feet won't slip off.....try Google (automotive pedal covers). HKS exhaust was once a respected system until their restriction and poor quality was discovered. Find one used here on our MARKETPLACE and it's still a good deal. Rubber mats, you can find those anywhere....PepBoys. You have a very nice, clean coupe but it would look 100% better if you'd have the grille painted body color....kinda looks like a black eye. Tint be careful, I wouldn't go much darker than 30% or you'll give the cops more reason to pull you over....leaving your sunroof shade back will help allowing more sun in your coupe. Learn to use our SEARCH all the answers are there. Removing those letters from your trunklid is called "Debadging" FYI

I like the grille black ..so I'll keep it that way...i just like it ..lol !!

I really dont want to spend that much on the exhaust as I cant afford it yet..with the review on the HKS Replica I'll probab,y get one, I dont drive my car hard I just want a little bit more grrroowwwll.

BTW...2nd MOD I installed a JWT Pop Charger just right now since I got the Ztube yesterday from the Nismo Store....love the sound when you hit upwards of 3500+ RPM... big difference, I am happy with this one...cheap and bang for the buck...atleast I got the Ztube and if I get tired of it ill go back to stock with a K&N drop filter...lol...I'll post pics later..

It was already debadged when I got it and it was replaced with skyline which i kinda like... I guess i get 500 more horsepower on this lol

I'll be getting tints but no more than the legal limit, I'll even ask the shop if they could tint / smoke my tail and headlights...if they would charge me an arm and a leg ill probably just buy an overlay from bluebat...

Ill check out pepboys or something for the rubber mats

I was supposed to drive to a shop by Rowland Heights... forgot the name they are listed as a authorized dealer here... dont know what time they close..I'll call them tomorrow and find out if I can buy the bulbs for my side markers..and what other goodies they sell..

Tomorrow I will wash her again and make her shiny with wax...make tires shine....lol !!

BTW...a shout out to our neighbor ( like 7 houses away ) here in walnut...a lot of nice cars parked outside BMW, Hyundai Genesis, 350Z, Honda accord and a silver g35 inside the garage..are you guys members here ?? dont wanna go down and just walk towards you guys and say hi..lol and get jumped !!
