Some of you may have seen my thread yesterday about the car not starting. The only way it starts now is if I got a jump.. obviously needs a new battery because when the car wont start the battery light will come on.

When the car is turned on, all the exterior lights work, Hazards, headlights, turn signals, etc.. but some of the intereior lights don't work the roof lights, dash lights and the clock lights work. the lights that don't work are the gear lights, P, N, D, etc...

ALSO the radio works. BUT I can not turn it off and it wont light up so none of the buttons work, to even turn it off or change the station. The only way to turn it off is if the car is off!

Do you think this could be because the battery is drained? I'm buying a new one today.

 

Are all of the fuses good?

 

I'm not sure if all the fuse spots in the engine compartment are supposed to be filled, but the compartment where you put the fuses into is missing fuses in about 5 or 6 spots.

 

All the fuses that are in there now are good to go though.

 

yea i would try a new battery first and then replace the fuses if the battery doesn't solve the issue.

 

The drivers side window does not roll up or down either, does anybody know how to reset the motor?

It won't roll up or down, also the drivers door wont automatically lock.

 

Our doors don't automatically lock.

 

why don't you start by buying a new battery first and then trouble shoot?
