Dude I'm in NJ too and bought a coupe with specs pretty much identical to yours about two months ago from a dealer for about $17.5K. The kicker is I went to VA for it. If you can take the trip you may want to check dealers in PA, MD, or VA because the ones in our area are overpriced.

^^ even that is too high. You shouldn't pay more than 15k really. If you wait, you'll find something for that. I looked for months in the south/north jersey area and found dozens of G's that way

I was thinking about this thread earlier and thought, hey OP, if you can swing $20K for a car, what about an 06' instead? The cost of the headlights and other upgrades is more than worth the extra $$. Plus, you might be able to find a car with lower mileage. Just a thought.

I really didnt have much time to shop around, so i ended up getting it after all. Brought it down to 17k, better than 20k still i know i over paid.

Key chain came with the a small black plastic looking remote but has no buttons other than a low batt light, anyone know what thats for?

2005 g35 coupe manual 44k miles, has navigation, leather seats, moon roof, and Bose system. The body is really clean no dents or scratches.

BMW dealership is asking 19.9k, even though it has low miles and its really clean is this a reasonable price for a 05? Im looking to finance it through the dealership, how much should I try asking for it?

Thanks for the help!

PS: I did search around the forums already but some of the posts are about a year old.

You can break it down man. I bought my 06 G Coupe fully loaded, sport suspension and 19" Rays, flawless with 27K miles on it for 19 after tax so you can definatly work em man.

bought my 03 w/46000 flawless from dealer with new tires, brake pads. for 15700 but got over allowance on my trade..this G35 is a drivers car and today everything is perfect...I am very happy with it... BUT in trying to DEAL on price earlier I was losing many cars..this car came from Balto beltway where good cars do not last long. If you are in Mechanicsburg go to my album maybe we can all get together..there are now 3 G35 here in Dillsburg.
