I just installed a Stillen intake and Pop Charger the other day. Since then I have a slight whistle sound when accelerating. I checked the piping and everything seems to be tight. Is this an air leak or a normal sound from the intake? Thanks

Yep. A lot of aftermarket intakes create a whistling sound when you accelerate, some more than others. Completely normal.

 

Ok, thanks. I didn't want to take it back apart if I didn't have too. The wife still doesn't know I bought it. LOL I had intakes on my Eclipse and Mustang and never had a whistle so I wasn't sure if it was a G thing or not.

 

Haha this is one of the most frequently asked questions about the Popcharger. As the others said, the sound is totally normal, especially if you blip the throttle.

I miss my GS-T nothing like having boost in a car! Adding an intake to that car gave it such a great sound of the turbo, that an a POV was all you needed
