Ses,slip,vdc,and ras on

So last night my car was fine when i parked it. I crank it up at about 3 a.m. and all of the lights above are on and it won't rev past 1300 rpm's with the throttle to the floor. Last night when it was doing it the RAS light was not on. This morning it revs freely but the RAS light is on. I just would like to understand what is going on becasue i have done nothing to the vehicle. It seems fine to drive but i just don't like the fact that these lights are on. Any help or advice would be appreciated plz because I am so lost.

I just fixed this problem on my '03 coupe.

1. Clean the throttle body.
2. clean the MAF sensor
3. Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes.

That's not going to fix his problem.

OP, it sounds like your car initially went into a severe limp mode, but then came out of it and your RAS (Rear Active Steer) is throwing a fault. You should have the code read to figure out exactly why it is throwing the fault, and when you fix it, your car will be fine.

That said, it wouldn't be a bad idea to clean your throttle body and MAF sensor but do that AFTER you fix the RAS and you've driven it for a while to make sure everything is working well, because the last thing you need to do is make a mistake cleaning those and throw another problem in the mix and then not be able to pinpoint things as the result of a certain problem.

Also, after you clean your MAF you'll likely want to reset the position and reset the idle... (you also have to do these things any time you reset the ECU by unplugging it).

Thank you guys for the quick responses. i thought that my g was just about to die. lol Has anyone found the actual culprit of these problems? I just find it odd that out of nowhere for no reason all these lights come on........... But nevertheless i will get on the cleaning and topping of fluids and changing my oil.

So I did the recommended step and I am still having problems with my car. But oddly enough if i take the front half of the airbox out and the filter it runs fine and no lights come on at all. I'm lost at this point and refuse to drive my car without at least a filter so im kinda at a standstill.

^sometimes those lights will kick in after ur driving for a bit. if ur jus starting the car and staring at it its may not come on. i doubt u taking out the filter has anything to do with it
