Question 5AT Gearing

Guys, does anyone have gearing ratios for 5AT Coupe? I can't find them anywhere. If not, then does anyone know how they compare to ratios for 5AT sedans, and at what speed do the coupes top out at? Thanks.

I dont have the ratios or anything but the reason why the coupe feels faster or w/e is because of the more aggressive gearing and ECU tuning, but what's weird is every coupe owner i know who gets a loaner sedan says it feels more powerfull then their coupe?!?! Weird

So we are geared to about 185mph, with 4th topping out at about 155mph. Are the coupes governed or just drag-limited somewhere in 150s?

Oh, and this thing is pretty good - http://www.meeks.f9.co.uk/sunbeam-ra...ng/Gearing.xls

I read somewhere that our coupes will pull redline in 4th. (150-155)
Theoretical top speed in 5th is unattainable --- not enough h/p.

That's for sure, or in the auto's anyway! Top end gearing int he automatic G35 sedan or coupe is horrible past 120 with it inching! Not anymore though

Im never in 5th because even being modded there is abolutely no power unless your over 100MPH, ive only been WOT in 5th gear once, if you pout the gear to 4th or 5th and stomp the gas it will have a big burst of power just like an automatic, not a constant pull and flow of power like a manual, if im ont he highway and need to take off its 3rd gead winding them out then switching or else its slow as hell, believe me ive gona through testing and testing for optimal shifting and performance for this car LOL, i can shift with no lag now, took a while but its how i beat some pretty fast cars!
