Rear Suspension Clunking AGAIN!?!?

Back in Feb. I was getting a clunking noise from the rear when i was at slow speeds and went over a bump or caused the car to rock side-to-side. I was able to replicate the noise by pushing on the car to make it rock side-to-side as well. I had the dealer look at it when I went in for brake pads, telling them I thought it was the endlinks. Sure enough, they said the endlinks were bad, so I ordered some from Riverside on ebay (dealer wanted $300 for parts and install) and got them installed by a mechanic and the noise went away.

But starting yesterday, I now hear the same kind of clunking sound from the rear. It also happens at slow speeds (<25 mph), but it only happens when I go over a bump or hit a crack in the road. It doesn't do it when the car rocks side-to-side, and I can't replicate it by pushing on the car this time.

Now the endlinks can't be bad after ~1500 miles right? Is there anything else that commonly makes this kind of noise?

I had the same issues. Whenever I go over spd bumps or crappy roads, I hear a "cliccckkk" sound. I got new endlinks but the sound continued. I believe you have my problem and I am pretty sure its the compression rods after much redearch on the forum. Hope this helps

^ The compression rods are up front, the noise he has is in the rear.

B FIFE22, This might me a stretch, but have you checked the nut on the top of the rear shock? Mine was loose a little bit and I could only hear when going over bumps in the road. Rocking the car or pushing down on it would not duplicate the sound.

I will check later today. I hope it is something as simple as this. I was thinking maybe the endlinks had gotten loose since they were installed but there was no play in them when I checked.
