G35 the best car to daily drive?
#16
I've had lots of cars. Some I've liked, some I've loved and some I truly hated. Right now I have two cars in my fleet that I love to DD. It's often a chore to walk out and pick which to drive to work each day. Since the G is my latest purchase it's getting heavy play in the rotation. And even in stovk form it puts a big silly grin on my face every time I stomp the loud pedal. When the pipes open from around 4500 -7000 rpm I get a chubby.
The other temptress is my Miata. It has an engine I built that lets just say puts out "more" than stock power. It has big, sticky tires. It's not nearly as fast in a straight line or as comfortable as the G, but in the twisties the G is just a big lumbering beast in comparison. Of course it's not fair, The G can haul groceries and people while the Miata only has to haul me most of the time. The Miata has a great set of tires, the G has the crappy Michelin something or other tires that were on the car when I bought it but really need to go.
Both cars make great DDs but each puts a big silly grin on my face in different manners.
