how can i improve my g35's bad gas mileage???
Change your driving habits by quit listening to your exhaust while driving. Use your cruise control when ever possible. If none of this works for you and you're still concerned about gas mileage, trade your G for a Leaf.

Wow that's pretty bad cause the first time I got the car I went to arco and filled up with 87 and I get about 317 miles with a full tank that's about 16.5 mpg 80% highway 20% city. My friends told me arco was bad so I started getting chevron 97 premium and so far I've been getting 340-367 mpg......so get only good gas no safeway or arco or any of those cheap gas stations

The first time I filled up I didn't know the car only takes premium. But ever since that I've been getting nothing but 91 at chev.

one full tank at highway 500miles.
In his defense, if he'd created the same thread everyone would have yelled at him for not searching.
With gas going up and getting a job a long way from home I spent a good bit of time on ecomodder.com and it's helped my gas mileage considerably. Their forums have been terrible in my experience (it's all egotistical, hippy, environmentalist, hybrid drivers), but the fundamentals are universal. Some simple driving habit changes, along with basic aero and weight reduction can yield significant results.

You can always roll to a red light when you see it turn yellow instead of foot on the gas and breaking at the last minute. When i know i am going to het a red light (B/c i know my area) i just let off the gas a little bit and roll by the time i get there light will turn green w/out me using the break.
