Until there is a scientific test done, I wont buy one, we all know butt dynos are not accurate and not to mention have a bad bias, if you buy something your going to say it did something.

I guess what I really mean is after installing my grounding kit, there is no NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE in the precision of gear shifting for my manumatic transmission. This is the whole reason why I bought and installed my grounding kit; I wanted to get rid of the lag in between shifts when I switch to manual mode in my 5AT. After installation of the grounding kit the lag is still there.

The lag is their not because of grounding, its the design of the valve body, if you want the lag minimized get the Transgo valve body upgrade, it shifts a lot faster

I know the transgo shift kit will definitely get rid of the lag. But the grounding kits advertise that the kits also help reduce the shift lag time in between shifts. Not to mention that my stereo doesn't sound any louder. I'm not bashing on any grounding kits out there, I'm just disappointed that I don't notice any difference at all in the specified areas that the grounding kits say they help compared to before I installed it.

Some members with aftermarket headunits have gotten rid of their speaker "noise" with a grounding kit..

Remove the crappy engine ground located behind the power steering reseviour and install one good solid ground wire to the engine block. That's all you need. No need to ground the intake, to the valve cover. When you bolt an engine to a trans, it's all electrical connected. With multiple wires, you run the risk of ground loops and electrolysis in the cooling system.

You can go on eBay and get pre made wires for golf carts for $5 or so.

If you want to upgrade your grounds, google "big three wiring upgrade" and do some reading
