Your exactly right but the a/t has about 10 more ftpn of trq. 270 versus 260 for m/t. Torque is what get's you going at 4200 rpms and then the hp kicks in at around 5400 rpms. That's why theses cars are so close in performance. The a/t should have an edge on take off and the m/t cathing up on the top winning by about 2 tenths of a second..

Why would the m/t catch up at all? It has 7 forward gears vs the mt 6.

Nissan/Infiniti need to get rid of the TC based autos and go DSG type. Mercedes and Nissan can't just keep adding gears. At this point the TC is the limiting factor.

Bullsheit. Any REAL SPORTS CAR, required you to hand crank it to start and adjust the ignition advance and a/f ratio on the fly. All while changing gears on a tranny with no syncromesh. Oh disc brakes? What kind of pu$$y used those? Drum brakes or nutin' man.
