What RPM's do you guys launch your G35s? I have brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 2's so grip is not an issue.

Nissan is getting better with there development as the new GTR already has this technology and is super quick shifting in performance mode. Now all we need is for that tech. to trickle down into our midrange cars lol. *fingers crossed*
The 2011 M3 does not have a clutch peddal it has a dual clutch automatic transmission. Mercedes Benz also offers similar autos in their AMG series cars. The new C63 amg with either 451 or optional 481 horsepower automatic provides 4 seperate auto modes it also offers launch control because it is necessary to get that much horsepower to the ground. Shifts from the paddle shifters happen in 100 milliseconds which is far faster than any human can shift mnaually on down shifts you have throttle blipping.

The A/T does the work for you. In most cases you will see better times with an A/T. It's not only the spinning you have to worry about in the M/T it's the over reving of each gear. Sometimes drivers hold the gears to long which is bad for times. Like some of the guy's said, it's all about choice and what you will use your car for? I don't believe you will be spending most of your time at the race track with this car? The M/T is probable a little more fun to drive because you are able to enter act with your car more. Either way these are some very good sports cars.
