My passenger window auto up isnt working. when i open the door and close it the window stays in the dropped position and doesnt return back up into the body of the car. opening and closing the door half a dozen times eventually has it all the way down. its brand new window motor and the auto up stopped working when i put it in and i went through the motor reset steps to adjust the travel for the window drop and some sites said it would fix this problem also - but it hasnt. any body got a fix this?

make sure you're doing that

 

i did that to reset that travel. but i may have messed up. i’ll try that again when i have someone to let me out of the car lol
