a/c problems *help*

So my last a/c compressor took a **** on me and i had a 04 sedan compressor laying around. I installed it and everything and had the freon vacuumed and charged. I go to turning on the A/C but the clutch on the compressor doesnt engage and is still blowing hot air. I look for an A/C fuse but there are none. The technician at the shops tries checking up on his manual and says that a computer over rules it. He suggests me taking it to the stealership but im sure its real expensive. BTW my car is an 03 coupe

check the wiring going to the compressor, make sure it's plugged in for a start since you swapped them, if it is try back probing and checking to see if you have power there. There has to be a fuse somewhere just might be under another option.

daym! I was hoping to come in here to find an answer. hahahaha

I have a different problem. I got into a car accident and the clutch to the a/c compressor fell off.
I want to buy a clutch off of the internet and slap it back on. Hoping it'll work.

i finally got it fixed about a month ago. But it was really just a 10 amp fuse in the IPDM box behind the battery. And yes the sedan compressor bolted right up to my coupe. However the coupe has 4 mounting bolts and the sedan has 3. Runs perfectly fine for me though
