Hello,

Three days ago I went to go start my car and the check engine light came on and the VDC turned off. A message popped up on my oem navigation screen saying " WARNING: YOU VDC IS MALFUNCTIONING AND IS NOW TURNED OFF". Next I tried to turn the VDC off and on by pressing the buttom below the steering wheel and nothing happened. I then turned the car off and when I stated it back up the VDC was turn back on and message was gone, although the check engine light stayed on. Once again yesterday morning I turn the car on and it happened again, I again turned the car off and restarted it the VDC turn on and the message was gone. This morning it happened all over again. The check engine light has stayed on consistently for 3 days now. Any ideas?

I went to aimco yesterday and they told me the code was a miss-fire in my 6th cyclinder. But I dont think that should have anything to do with the VDC. The guy at amico had no idea what to tell me.
