Vortech tuned.. a few questions..

Howdy all, It's been a while since I opened a thread. Any way. I just got my car tuned. I have a 6mt, vortech supercharged, and the x02 exhaust.. so the car hit 360whp and 320tq on a mustang dyno. I guess that's pretty good. I bought the smaller pulley, the 2.87, but it is not installed yet. I was informed that I would see gains of 40whp to 60whp with that.. but the issue at hand is that the fuel pump, a warlboro 255 or the 450/455 fuel injectors are maxed out... and hence the graph meets at the end..

I don't know much about these things, So i needed a few elite people to help me out..

Will I need to build the engine if I install the smaller 2.87 pulley?
Do i need a better fuel pump, and what size fuel injectors are great without being over kill.
I am using the step 2 box that came with the vortech as the computer for the car, I was told I should get a real emanage system, like a haltech or uprev.. what is a good inexpensive ECU for that?

Last but not least, 60hp, if I do all those upgrades, what would it cost me? How much is labor and all the parts?

Here is the video

the walbro shouldn't be maxed out it would be the injectors 450 isnt that big of an injector. you can run up to 800cc i have been told and still be able to idle fine but you wont need that big a 600 or 650 would be more than enough you the 2.87 pulley. if you can get enough fuel into the engine the 2.87 will work and you wont need to build the engine but if it goes lean while running that pulley you chances or a catastrophic failure are much greater. and the uprev is a sufficient system for what you are doing and alot cheaper than the haltech and it is intalled onto your existing ecu through the OBD2 plug. with the 2.87 pulley you will most likely experience belt slipping issues it seems that everyone does at that point so you may want to look into some pulley mods.

If you want a good cheap ecu solution use the uprev. Fuel return should also help if you want that security.

Yup, can save your fuel pumps life.. Bad things happen when your pump fails on you.
