dyno'd at 243 rwhp, is this ok???

There is usually somewhere around a 20% loss of power through the drivetrain on most cars. And that's not necessarily correct at all about not being able to get the same or better numbers with a car that has more mileage. As long as nothing is mechanically wrong with an engine it shouldn't lose hardly any power up to those mile markers. Some engines will even make more power after they are broken in.

like candlestick and herrschaft already stated you cant really compare different dynos on different days with different conditions. its like comparing oranges and apples. however i know its still useful to get some idea of what to expect. we have similar mods except i have art pipes (i have the round FI catback). i put down 260 after the tune and gained 13 on a mustang dyno. Other bolton g35s have put down btwn 260 and 270 on that dyno. I've read that dynojets will read a bit higher than mustang dynos but its not definitive that thats the case here. hope that helps. you gained 15 from the tune thats pretty good. you had a good tuner.

UpRev tuned my '04 G35 6MT coupe (came with 287 bhp from the factory for that year) on their Dynojet last week:
263.44whp/243.87ft lbs torque with bolt-ons only
270whp/249.70ft lbs torque with bolt-ons after tune

K&N Typhoon CAI
Motordyne 5/16" isothermal spacer
Motordyne MREV2 lower collector
Berk HiFlo cats
Borla catback exhaust

Feed back i'm getting is pretty much consistant, I appreciate the info, it def helps.

^ Yep, put down 260 with full bolt ons and a tune.
