Locking and horn staying on problem.
So, when I read this thread I was laughing my *** off: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...-off-help.html
Now it has happened to me. I have the same exact problem. It rained hard the past 2 days. Yesterday I drove it around town no problems. This morning the battery was completely dead. I jumped it and went to work. I tried to lock it but my horn stayed on. I had to turn my car on to turn it off. So I locked it manually. After 3 hours my battery is dead again. I believe there is a short somewhere.
Here is the big thing though. Yesterday I was driving when it was raining very hard and there were huge puddles on the road. I would say 3 to 6 inch deep puddles. I drove through a few of them. I believe this is what caused the problem. The water got somewhere in the engine bay deep.
Has anyone found a solution yet? I found these 3 threads in my search, but none have the solution:

Update:
I think I have found the problem. Since the horn was staying on when I pressed the lock button I disabled the horn when locking. You just push the lock and unlock button at the same time for about 4 seconds, and it'll make it silent.
I jumped my car yesterday and dropped it off at home. Took my dad's car back to work. After 3 hours I got home and was able to start the car. I again tried 3 more hours later. Started up fine. Then I tried this morning and it started with no problems.
It's possible that all the water dried up and that fixed the problem as well. The only way to know would be to turn the horn back on and try it out, but I don't want to risk it. I have to get my car inspected this month so don't want anything bad happening. I will bump the 3 threads mentioned above to see if anyone else found the same solution.

File a safety report
Please file a safety report at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov. I have the same problem. Happened to me three times and yet I'm the only one the filed a report. Let's force a recall.

well here I am having the same issue with my horn staying on when locking the key fob. It works if the door is open, then locked, then closed. It rained hard here the past couple days so im assuming that is the reason, now I just need to figure out how? I found water in the battery tray but the fuse boxes looked ok. So far I haven't found any solutions on here. Hopefully it will dry out and fix itself. I'll try to update with any info I find.

If there's water in the battery tray then the cowl drain is likely plugged up. Start by fixing that problem since it's pretty easy.
Next, disconnect the battery, unbolt/unplug the IPDM and remove it from the vehicle. Take it inside and put it in a bowl of rice just like you would a smartphone if you dunked it in the water.
Personally I would take a good picture of the IPDM fuse/relay layout, unplug EVERYTHING, then put it in the rice overnight. The more you disassemble the IPDM the better you will get moisture contamination out of it.

I had water in my battery tray as well but my cowl drain wasnt plugged up. Weird how the water got in there. But I tried removing the bolts to get my battery tray out but one of the bolts was corroded and the head just stripped. I just ended up drilling a few small holes in the lowest parts of the tray where water can collect.
But yes...check your cowl drain hole to make sure its not clogged and filling with water everytime it rains.

Check the plastic cowl pieces that fit up against the windshield. We had a problem a while back with water in the engine bay and it turned out when we replaced the battery the weather stripping that snugs the cowl to the windshield had gotten pinched when we put it all back together and had created a gap that allowed water to leak into the bay.

Bumping another old thread. My g is doing this now, the horn thing when you lock with the key fob. There was a ginormous rainstorm recently, and I did see a little water in the battery tray. Posting because this guys blog entry about it has pics and instructions.
