Last weekend I added an intake system in my car. Everything was fine until the next morning when I started my car the check engine light was on. I check the code, PO507, which is idle system control issue. I definitely hear my engine idling a lot higher than usual. Would the intake I added be causing this? Or would it be something else causing this. I still have a warranty on the car but I’m nervous now that I added that mod it will disqualify the warranty. Thanks.

 

Do an ecu reset then do an idle relearn. Search for it.

 

same thing happen to me when i put my cold air intake and throttle body spacer, i just took off the negative for half hour the reconnected and never saw it again
