I was replacing my g tube with a ztube today, and i noticed there's a hole/tear in the rubber part...?

you think its straight? or am i losing air/power?

 

You're potentially sucking dirty air in after the filter. That isn't a good thing.

 

Yea you need to replace it. Dirt is getting into the engine.

Id check the marketplace or a vendor and see if you can just get that tube.. But as they said def not good, losing the point of your air filter although it probably will not cause too many problems.

 

Alright I'll try to find the part. Anyone know an official name I can search? Intake tube rubber?

 

It looks like it's part of a larger part according to what I'm seeing. Collision Catalog -

I think you could likely use someone somewhat generic though.
