Is Fram and K&N Air Filter the same?

I bet this is what that autoparts store was talking about. Not the crappy Fram paper air filers. The Air Hog costs 50 bucks. I would be surprised if it performed any different than the K&N, its the same design.
Yeah, I believe that this was what the guy was talking about. Looks the same as the K&N but I think that I'm going to order it through Grubbs because it seems a little cheaper.

I was thinking of going for the Z Tube and the K&N but I do not have the bought the Z Tube yet, if I just put the K&N in, the only noticeable difference that i would notice is just a little more sound right?

But thanks everyone for you inputs.

Before u decide to put any other filter than OEM consider this article.

(go through the flow and filteration test below in the article)
Some filter that give better flow may compromise cleaning ability by letting too many particles in.
